Welcome to East Coast Garden Center! We are a retail and wholesale nursery offering a variety of trees, evergreens, flowering shrubs, grasses, natives, perennials, annuals, house plants, tropicals, and more. Some of our specialties are creating custom containers, landscape design, and custom installations.
East Coast Garden Center and RSC Landscaping are proud to be a Delaware Nursery Landscape Association award winner for the “Best Large Landscape” Resident Category in 2010, 2013 & 2014.
Valery, Rick, and Steve Cordrey launched RSC Landscaping in 1990. After years of not being able to find unique plant selections locally, the family decided to create their own growing division and garden center to fill the void. They wanted to have a large assortment of plants available for their landscaping projects and in addition, offer them to homeowners and wholesalers who were also searching for high quality, unique plants.
East Coast Garden Center, located in Millsboro, DE, has more than 70 greenhouses and works to bring in plant material from around the country to ensure they have the newest plants in the area. It was always Valery Cordrey’s dream to turn the garden center into a destination with display gardens to inspire customers. Facilitating classes allows customers to be enriched with education of new skills and techniques. Moreover, this coupled with the opportunity to relax in the garden continually inspires customers.
Creating the Cordrey Center, a houseplant showroom, and the Enrichment Center, a place to hold classes, and expanding the Children’s Garden area, are additional steps that create an amazing destination location. Whether a person is looking for the perfect plant, landscape materials and services, or just a place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery, East Coast Garden Center has it all.
